The Academy will hold a general selection evening again at a future date. We are always interested in new players joining.

If you are interested in your son attending the Academy please fill out a Registration Form. We will then contact you for your son to attend a coaching session.

Matt Lockwood, professional footballer and also assistant manager at Dundee in Scotland. Previously at Leyton Orient, Nottingham Forest and Colchester United, selected for P.F.A team of the year 4 times is looking to further develop the academy.

• We run advanced and development groups
• Training takes place every Wednesday 4.45pm-6.00pm between September and Easter on astro turf at King Edmund School, Rochford. After Easter training will take place every Wednesday 4.45pm but end times will vary according to light on school field at Plumberow School,Hockley via back entrance (Cheltenham Road off Leamington Road)
• Half term games against other Academies, Premier League and league football teams
• Previous trips included a visit to Manchester United FC training ground, training and a tour of Old Trafford
• Future games include another trip to Manchester United to play their development groups
• Coaching from other professional players
• High quality coaching with SAQ work included to improve co-ordination and movement
• Opportunity to be viewed by professional scouts and chance to trial at pro clubs
